We consider the Other category as our catch all page. We post awesome deals on airfare from Southwest, Delta, and others, however, most of the time the deals that we find here are flash sales that are good for a day or two. Southwest is famous for this. In terms of gift cards deals, we like eBay for this. Oddly enough, the PayPal actually posts some really good deals. We’ve seen $15 off iTunes gift cards with free shipping, $15 off Cabela’s gift cards and so on. That’s a great way to save money, especially if you already plan on making a purchase at iTunes, Cabela’s, etc. We’ve also seen a few PlayStation Plus Membership deals and coupons that help gamers same some extra cash. Again, those are mostly through eBay, however, there are a lot of gift card sites out there that offer cheaper gift cards. Our favorite here is Raise.com, however, there are dozens to choose from.
Where to get deals on backpacks, luggage, and more
Deals on backpacks are everywhere, but we find that school bags are usually discounted at the big box stores like Walmart, Amazon, Target, etc. Also, eBags.com has consistent deals on backpacks and school supplies. For luggage, eBags is also a good option, but eBay is definitely the outright winner. We seen huge discounts on products from Samsonite, Eagle Creek and others, all on eBay. In fact, eBags actually heavily discounts products on eBay, as does Buy Dig. Older products or excess inventory get liquidated on eBay and you can score some awesome deals.
Back to school deals and college dorm room supplies
Back to school shopping is huge! We usually post deals on backpacks, office equipment, calculators, etc. on this page. Target, Walmart, and Amazon usually go heavy with Back to School Shopping Deals, discounting all sort of items for a 2-3 week span. Bundles are a good way to get discounts during back to school season. Maybe you need a backpack and notebooks, well sometimes you’ll find the bundle a lot cheaper than you can find them individually. Same principle applies for shopping for college dorm room supplies, but mostly for the no-brainer items like notebooks, pens, laptops, etc. For microwaves, blenders, and all of that, Best Buy actually does pretty well for consumers. Staples and Office Depot are two other options that heavily discount back to school supplies. Both have deals sections of their website, which are a great spot to start your shopping, but it’s probably smart to cross-check with Amazon since Amazon is trying to get more into back to school shopping. Kohl’s the x factor when it comes to shopping for clothes during this season. They always have coupons and offer Kohl’s Cash back upon purchase. The other thing that we like about Kohl’s is that you can often order online and pickup in-store to avoid any shipping charges. That way you can still compare prices and shop their full inventory list, but you can actually try on in store and see what’s new.
