Design & Functionality
The PULSE+ is super lightweight and compact enough to fit in your purse or back pocket. The official dimensions are 5.25″ x 4.75″ x 1.25″, and it only weighs 0.5 lb. Despite its small size, it packs a powerful punch. Using the replaceable one-time cartridges, the PULSE+ shoots two electrical probes up to 15 feet away and aims with a targeting laser. The barbs on the probes can stick to clothing, flesh, and can even arc electrical current through some bulletproof items. The electrical pulses that the taser sends are similar to the frequencies in the body, so they disrupt normal functions, which can cause vertigo, freezing in place, falling to the ground, involuntary muscle contractions, and more.
It also shoots out 20-30 “confetti-like anti-felon ID tags” when it’s fired, which are used to mark attackers or criminals so they can be easier identified by law enforcement if they happen to escape. If you happen to miss who you were aiming for, this device can also act as a 50,000-volt contact stun gun via the two metal electrodes on the front. It really does it all here to protect you.
This taser runs on two replaceable CR123 lithium batteries, which should be available at any goods store.
This taser sets itself apart with its smart safety features. After obtaining your PULSE+, you’ll need to download the Noonlight app. Your phone will then sync with your taser via the app, and alert Noonlight authorities instantly when you fire your PULSE+. First, a Noonlight dispatcher will attempt to contact you via text message. If you don’t respond, they will call you. If you still don’t respond, they will contact the police directly and use the GPS via your phone to locate you.
This taser also has safety switches on both sides of its body to prevent any accidental discharges, and if the taser is left armed for longer than 20 minutes without any use, it will go into a low power mode, which means that it won’t be able to fire. This adds an additional level of protection to make sure there are no accidents.
